Working in Bakersfield

A few weeks ago I had to nail up signs southeast of Bakersfield in the Arvin area, here's a picture of my father returning from nailing up a set.

The Napa trip

This is my favorite picture from my trip to Napa, which was outside of a winery (all the wine conspired to make me forget which one), where there was a small forest of stone mushrooms.




I took this on the way to the Bistro Jeanty for dinner the first night. It just seemed so... out of time that it captured my attention.
